The Break Up
29th March 2019
"Give me five minutes to hear me out and then decide if you still wanna go.
A British man has just gone through a break up with his Polish boyfriend. Though at first bitter, this British man realises he can't go on without him, and begs for forgiveness, explaining how he was influenced by his racist mother, jealous sister, and possessive friends. An allegory, The Break Up explores the racial prejudice in the time of Brexit, and details some of the many reasons against Britain leaving the European Union.
The Break Up debuted as part of Coast To Coast Theatre Company's 'Last Night In Europe Event' at the Norwich Arts Centre.
